Amir D. Gibbs is the
principal of The Gibbs Law
Firm, LLC (GLF) a general
civil practice located in
Rockville, Maryland with a
primary focus in the areas
of business law and
litigation. Mr. Gibbs
founded GLF after devoting
the better part of a decade
in service to the citizens
of Baltimore City as an
Assistant State’s Attorney.
During his career, Mr. Gibbs
has amassed substantial
litigation experience
including dozens of jury and
court trials as well as
extensive motions practice
involving complex legal
issues. As a member of the
State’s Attorney’s Office,
Mr. Gibbs quickly ascended
through the ranks as he was
promoted from the district
courts to more specialized
felony trial units in the
circuit court. In his most
recent capacity with BCSAO,
Mr. Gibbs was assigned to
the Homicide Unit, where he
was primarily responsible
for handling homicide cases,
including high profile
murders.
Prior to establishing GLF,
Mr. Gibbs was a senior
associate with a business
litigation law firm located
in Rockville, Maryland.
